BIOGRAFIA – Aggiornata e riscritta

10 anni di storia.
10 anni pieni di gioia ed emozioni.
10 anni in cui ogni cosa pian piano si è evoluta per diventare qualcosa di assolutamente magnifico.

Il 10 Marzo 2002, Ruki ( ルキ ) , Uruha(麗), Aoi ( 葵 ) , Reita ( れいた ) e Yune ( 湯ね ) formano ufficialmente i ガゼット。

Una volta ottenuto un contratto con la casa discografica Matina Records riescono a pubblicare il primo singolo “WAKAREMICHI 「別れ道」 ” già nel mese di aprile con tanto di seconda ristampa a Giugno. Nel giro di due mesi riescono a pubblicare altri due singoli: Kichiku Kyoushi (32sai Dokushin) no Nousatsu Kouza 「鬼畜教師（32歳独身）の悩殺講座」 ” ad Agosto e “Gozen O-ji trauma rajio 「 午前0時のとらうまラヂオ」 ” a Settembre.

Dopo l’uscita della compilation natalizia, contenente la canzone “Moon 「妖幻鏡」, agli inizi del 2003 il batterista decide di lasciare la band per motivi che non sono stati ancora resi noti. Delle volte affinché le cose possano andare nel verso giusto qualcuno deve intraprendere un cammino solitario; al suo posto viene Kai, giovane batterista di Tokushima. ( attuale Leader della band )

2003. The new beginning

L’arrivo del nuovo batterista segna quasi la rinascita della band, decidono così di lasciare la Matina per firmare un contratto con una delle case discografiche più importanti della scena Visual Kei: la PSCompany.

Il 2003 è un anno pieno di avvenimenti importanti ed opportunità meritate per questa giovane band. Dal rilascio di un mini-album “COCKAYNE SOUP” , un tour con gli Hanamuke e i vecchi compagni di etichetta, i Vidoll. Inoltre hanno la possibilità di apparire in una delle riviste più influenti della sfera Visual: il Cure Magazine.

Alla fine di quello stesso anno, il 28 Dicembre, partecipano ad un evento organizzato dalla rivista FOOL’S MATE, il BEAUTI-FOOL’S FEST 03 featuring Kra, Gullet, Pink Halleluja, Deadman, Miyavi, D’espairsRay, Daigo Stardust, Merry e MUCC. Evento che viene riportato anche su DVD.

2004. Creations

Durante il corso di quest’anno collezionano una serie mini album e singoli. La qualità della musica migliora a vista d’occhio diventando sempre più abili nel creare canzoni di successo. Questo miglioramento li porta inevitabilmente ad un livello di fama più elevato rispetto a prima.

Il 16 Gennaio 2004 pubblicano il loro primo DVD live ed inaugurano l’apertura del fan club ufficiale: l’HERESY. Il 30 Marzo 2004 pubblicano il mini-album “斑蠡～MADARA～” che raggiunge la 2° posizione dell’ Oricon Indie Chart. A Maggio pubblicano un DVD contenente tutti i videoclip ed i retroscena del mini-album “斑蠡～MADARA～”. Nei mesi successivi, tra Settembre e Ottobre, partono per un tour con due band della casa stessa etichetta: i Kra e i BIS. Sempre in quei mesi riescono anche a rilasciare il primo, e tanto atteso, album: “DISORDER” che raggiunge le prime posizioni nella classifica più famosa del Giappone.

2005. Changing.

Come per inaugurare questo nuovo anno partono per un tour giapponese chiamato “Standing Tour 2005 Maximum Royal Disorder” con rispettivo final allo Shibuya Kokaido il 17 Aprile.

Il 3 Agosto 2005 esce un altro mini-album dal titolo “Gama 「蛾蟇(がま)」“, riuscendo anche a pubblicare il primo servizio fotografico ufficiale, il “Verwelktes Gedicht” con ambientazione in Australia. Servizio che uscirà con tanto di CD contenenente una traccia esclusiva. Il 6 Dicembre 2005 esce il singolo “Cassis” che li lancia definitivamente verso il successo entrando nella top 10 dell’Oricon Chart.

9 years of history.
9 years full of joy and emotions
9 years where everything has slowly turned in something absolutely wonderful.

Now we are here to write down every single and small feeling that makes us hope and dream day by day.

Everything began on 10th March, when the roads of five guys, Uruha (麗) (guitar), Reita (れいた) (bass), Ruki (ルキ) (vocal), Aoi (葵) (guitar) e Yune (drum), joined togheter, under the name of ガゼット。

Even if they were still kids, they worked hard in order to make their dreams come true.
Each of them had gone through difference experiences that scored them deeply in the inside.
But despite everything, working as hard as hell, they were able to move forward.
Live after live, in extremely small live houses.
Few fans, good music.

But this is not their fate.

With the first single “Wakaremichi” they started the long way for the success, A path full of efforts, little goals, big laughs and tears.
They were good… full of talent.

With their first SOLD OUT concert they showed to everyone their great skills.
It was an important goal for the band, the first in a long series.

After the release of another Single, their drummer, Yune, left the band .. But this event didn’t stop them!
They were like a dangerous bomb: full of energy!

Sometimes, if you want to go on, you must take a solitary way.

After that, he was replaced by Kai, a young drummer from Tokushima. (
The desire to come out and fill up the hearts of hundred people with their music was really strong.

They started to play with a new partner and a new challenge awaited them: an important contract with the major label “PS COMPANY”.

2003 was a year full of important events and opportunities for this new band.
From the release of a mini-album to a tour with two other important bands.. and the opportunity to appear in one of the most influential magazines in Japan: Cure Magazine.
They were at the top and no one could stop them!
Their popularity grew so much, it was like [ living a dream with your eyes open ],right guys?

[For these 9 years we want to rebuild every single victory, step by step.
they have been 9 important years, for you and for us!
We are a big family.
An unique huge family composed by hundreds and hundreds of people.]

In a short times they released several mini-albums and live ( above all  they took part in Fool’s Mate Beauty-fool’s fest　with Kra, Gullet, Miyavi, Daigo Stardust, deadman, D’espairsRay, Merry, Pink Halleluja e MUCC.)
The lyrics are amazing, they can show us the little light in the darkness.
Without realizing it, they became a light for many guys, who could go through sad and dark days thanks to The GazettE’s music.
So many tears were dryed thanks their songs.
So many hearts were saved thanks their wonderful notes.
With them, other people were living a dream, the very same dream, a dream from which no one wants to wake up.
The fans increased rapidly, bringing them a few more step up in this great and difficult climbing to success.

Tokyo Saihan JUDGMENT DAY

16th January 2004
1500 fans reunited in front of a stage
1500 fans ready to go crazy with the divine notes of their songs.

Also, important magazines as “SHOXX” in the Expect Rush III, considered them as the most indipendent Visual Kei’s band.
No one could stop them.
An amazing and powerful band..
A second concert DVD, Heisei Banka, was released on August 25. During September and October they toured with fellow PS Company bands Kra and BIS.
After the released of several single and mini-albums they released their first full ALBUM “DISORDER“, which sold 11.231 copies, reaching the 5th position on the most important chart in Japan, the Oricon Chart.
Maximum Royal Disorder
In early 2005 the band started their Japan-wide spring tour called “Standing Tour 2005 Maximum Royal Disorder“, the final live was held at Shibuya Kokaido on 17th April .
2005 was also a year full of release, like the single “Reila“, the mini-album “Gama” that come out on 3rd August and the single “Cassis“, which was a big success entering on the top 10 of the Oricon Chart.
On 2006 they changed the name from ガゼット to The GazettE ( Ruki said it was for the designe of the logo! )

We can write lines and lines about this tour, every single live was full of emotions; Every fans lived every single moment like it was the last one, enjoying every little feelings.
Thanks to the behind the scenes footage  of the tour they showed the simplicity of their relationship too. The pure friendship between bandmates it’s also important and they are one of the best!
It’s like a good exemple for the other people.
With the DVD we laughed, cryed and dreamed…

The way to create music improved so much, each song has its own story .
As the time go by, their songs became more structured, there was a search for balance between the notes and the solos and each member developed its own experience, in a personal way.
They had a lot of ideas and they tried to realize them together, this was The GazettE to grow up.
They are in the middle of artistic and stylistic development, from the simple outfits of the first times to the detailed and personalized of the present days.

Meaningless Art That People Showed

Speaking of overseas tour, with the “Pulse Wriggling to Black 1.5” they gave us a lot of surprises.
This was the first (and the last for now) tour in the Old-country.
Reaching place like: Germany, Finland, France and England, they gathered a lot of people from all the Europe and of all the ages.
At that time the Visual Kei was just a trend for the people who tried to be alternative, and for this reason most of the audience was there not for the music and the band but only because they were trying to be cool, and because in their minds there were the stereotype of japanese musicians related to manga and anime. Indeed this tour wasn’t as pleasant as the band thought. (And this is a PITY)
The tour was a  showcase for the album “Stacked rubbish”. ( This album collects a lot of good and bad review)
Some fans think that their music became like all the other Occidental bands, for this reason they started to move away from the gazettE’s world, starting to criticize every single move.
But luckily not everyone had their same thoughts, knowing that this change was a prerogative of the band, the fans didn’t left their side… starting to get closer to the group, supporting them and appreciating their music for the skills of the members and not only for their old style.
As Ruki said in a interview “it’s not important to be on the top, we just want to create good music”. And I think they are doing a great work.
The thing that makes the GazettE different from all the other bands, it’s not just the music in constant changing, but the fact that their melodies doesn’t belong to any specific style.
Every single, every song is different from the other.
Everything it’s so different that doesn’t make you tired, ever.
The music world doesn’t suits all the people who don’t appreciate changes.
Despite this gap between fans, they didn’t give up and tryed their best, and with the single “Guren” they reached the first position in the Oricon chart.
Personally I see it as a great victory for those who didn’t believed in them.

Repeated Countless Error

“The Pulse Wriggling to Black” tour (from July 2007 to April 2008), reached 8 town around all Japan (it reached also the Osaka-jo on 13th April) and it finished with the last two dates,  19th and 20th April, at the Yoyoji Daiichi Taiikukan under the name of “Repeated Countless Error”.
In the middle of the live Ruki said: “We were able to reach all these successes thanks to you, staff and fans. I’m really grateful for your support, but this is not the end. We will keep going on. Do it with us.”
it was a final beyond all the expectations, the band surprised everyone with an amazing improvement: both the  stage presence and the music.
Every single song had the power to make everyone jump and shake in the whole hall. In the end i think that the music, whether live or not, can join together a lot of people.
Secret live at Shinjuku
On 15th November, for the release of the new single “LEECH”, they organized a secret live at Shinjuku Station. They have scheduled about 250 seats but the event brought more than 7.000 people. The live started quietly but because of the problems caused by the crowd,  who had blocked the whole street, the police had to interrupt the fantastic performance after only 10 minutes.
This single, like the previous album, collects good and bad reviews  According to the comments of the fans on the net, this single is classified  as commercial and not coherent to the old style.
Here there is the same gap like for “Stacked Rubbish“.  As a matter of fact, “LEECH” is an attack to the society, and thanks to this, a lot of people have started to follow the band.
The lyrics had a strong meaning and is able to make the people think about all the problems concerning the modern society.
During the PSC Anniversary event they’ve announced the release of a new single: “Distress and Coma“. This song was also played during their 7th anniversary at the Makuhari Messe Convention Hall.
The classical dancer in the PV, the deep meaning of the lyrics… the guitar, the power of the bass and the drum… everything has reached the perfection; with this song a new the GazettE’s generation is started.
The innovations of this CD are the well-researched intro between each song, then you can also notice that the tracklist is more organized than the previous ones.
Moreover, despite the heaviness of the whole album – both in the lyrics and in the music – there is also the sweetness and the gentleness that belongs to the GazettE.
As time goes by, there was an evolution in the vocalist’s voice, becoming deeper and fitting better this kind of sound.
Ruki was able to use his particolar voice; while the guitarists’ technique improved becoming much more smooth, creating a sort of dance between guitars.
With the released of this album there was a promotional tour ” DIM SCENE tour” with the final at “Saitama Super Arena“.
the band surprised everyone with a lot of special effects and with the amazing improving of the sound.
The dark atmosphere predominated the entire hall, creating a really magical feeling.
There was a time for pure rock, comunicating to the audience powerful and strong sensations, but at the same time there was a time for the delicate ballads that captured all the attention of the people in the Saitama.
It was a really unique experience.
On 7th October they released “Before i decay” (It was also the soundtrack of the famous movie “Fast and Fourios 4“). After that, on 24th October The Gazette performed at V’Rock Festival 2009 at Makuhari Messe Convention Hall; only two months later we had the chance to see them on stage for the chistmas eve live “ A HYMN OF THE CRUXIFIXION” at Tokyo Big Sight.
Unfortunately, during this tour the Vocalist lost his voice because of all the efforts he had done, and for this reason they had to delete some concerts.
On 17th March the band started with the Standing Live Tour 10 “The End of Stillness” at Zepp Tokyo. With the releasing of a new single “Shiver” and the “Film bug II “, which included 10 PV from Regret to Before I Decay, they announced the transfer from the King Records to Sony Music Records. (Even if there were some misunderstangings between the staff and the group!): “Shiver” is the first single under this label, and it’s also the opening of a very famous anime: “Kuroshitsuji II”.
At the end of  “THE END OF STILLNESS” there was an “all fan open” tour: ““TOUR10 NAMELESS LIBERTY SIX BULLETS”, and the final would be held at the Tokyo Dome in December.
In the time between the tour and the Tokyo Dome, there were the release of two other single: “RED” and “PLEDGE“.
“RED” have a really strong impact while “PLEDGE“  have a more quite sound, moreover the single contains two be-sides with a pure rock soul.

50.000 people in front of them.
In my opinion, there was a strange atmosphere… there wasn’t their usual spell in the air. But except for this little personal feeling i think that it’s an important goal.
It’s like a dream with open eyes, a childhood’s dream.
In the end, it doesn’t matter where the lives are, the location is not important, if the GazettE will keep showing themself as they really are, we’ll be by their sides, always.
On 11th March, the band started another “fanclub only” tour named “Live Tour 11 – Two Concept Eight Nights -ABYSS/LUCY- “, with the total of 8 performance – and the birthday event the “Day 9 -NINE-” at Zepp Tokyo in March 10.
Because of the earthquake in Japan, the release of the “Best of album Traces Best of 2005-2009″ and the DVD at Tokyo Dome which contains footage of their final concert were postponed at 6th April.
At last, they’ve released the single “VORTEX“.

9 anni in cui ogni cosa pian piano si è evoluta per diventare qualcosa di assolutamente magnifico.

Tutto ebbe iniziò il 10 Marzo, quando le storie di 5 ragazzi, Uruha (麗) (chitarrista), Reita (れいた) (bassista), Ruki (ルキ) (cantante), Aoi (葵) (chitarrista) e Yune (batterista),si unirono in un’unica strada: i The GazettE.
Ognuno di loro aveva alle spalle esperienze che li avevano segnati sin dal profondo, musicalmente e personalmente.
Ma nonostante tutto, impegnandosi duramente sono riusciti ad andare avanti.
Live dopo live, dapprima in piccole livehouse.
Pochi fan, buona musica.
Ma non era quello a cui erano destinati…

Con il loro primo singolo “WAKAREMICHI” iniziarono un lungo percorso, fatto di fatica e gioie immense.
Erano bravi.. pieni di talento.
E questo si vide anche con il loro primo sold out.
Il primo traguardo importante per la band, il primo di una lunga serie…

Dopo aver rilasciato un’altro signolo, il loro batterista Yune li lasciò… ma questo non li fece arrendere.
Delle volte affinchè le cose possano andare nel verso giusto, qualcuno deve intraprendere un cammino solitario.
La voglia di uscire allo scoperto e riempire i cuori di centinaia di fan con la loro musica era troppa; al suo posto venne Kai, giovane batterista di Tokushima (e attuale Leader del gruppo)

Ora giocavano con un nuovo giocatore; una nuova sfida li attendeva: lasciarono la casa casa discografica per firlare un’importante contratto con la casa discografica “PS COMPANY”.

Il 2003, un anno pieno di avvenimenti importanti e opportunità meritate per questa giovane band.
Dal rilascio di un mini album(COCKAYNE SOUP) , un tour con altre due band ( gli Hanamuke e i Vidoll) e soprattutto… la possibilità di apparire si una delle riviste più influenti del giappone: Cure Magazine.

Il 28 Dicembre prendono parte all’ evento organizzato dalla rivista “Fool’s Mate”, Beauti-fool’s Fest ’03, insieme ad artisti del calibro di Kra, lab., Gullet, Pink Halleluja, deadman, Miyavi, D’espairsRay, Daigo Stardust, Merry e MUCC.

Per questi 8 anni vogliamo ricostruire, passo dopo passo, ogni singola vittoria.
Sono stati 8 anni importanti sia per voi, che per noi!
Siamo una famiglia.
Un’unica grande famiglia composta da centinaia e centinaia di persone.

In poco tempo realizzano una serie di mini album e live, testi sono meravigliosi, una luce nel buio.
Le melodie in grado di far sognare.
I fan aumentano a dismisura, portandoli ancora qualche gradino più in su in questa grande e faticosa scala verso il successo.

Senza accorgersene sono diventati come un faro per molti ragazzi, che con la loro musica sono riusciti a passare molto giorni bui.
Molte lacrime sono state asciugate grazie alle loro canzoni.
Molti cuori sono stati salvati.

Con loro, molti altri stavano vivendo un sogno

Un sogno dal quale nessuno vuole più svegliarsi..

Tokyo Saihan JUDGMENT DAY

16 Gennaio 2004

1500 fan riuniti davanti ad un palco.

1500 fan pronti a scatenarsi sotto alle note divine delle loro canzoni.

Poco dopo l’imponente rivista Shoxx li classificò come band indipendente del Visual Kei.
Ormai nessuno poteva fermarli.

Il 3 Agosto 2005 esce un altro mini-album dal titolo “Gama”. Il 6 Dicembre 2005 esce il singolo “Cassis” che li lancia definitivamente verso il successo entrando nella top 10 dell’ Oricon Chart.
Nel 2006 cambiarono il loro nome, da ガゼットdiventarono The GazettE (Per cerare un logo che potesse rimanere impresso a molti, disse una volta il Vocalist)

Su questo tour si potrebbero scrivere pagine e pagine.
Ogni singola data è stata accompagnata da incredibili emozioni.

Ogni fan ha vissuto ogni istante come se fosse l’ultimo, godendosi ogni piccola sensazione.
Grazie al dvd del dietro le quinte del tour si sono fatti conoscere e amare anche per i semplicità che li unisce.

Abbiamo riso, pianto e cantato, fino ad arrivare al Final..

BUDOKAN.
Accidenti, questa si che è stata una sfida.
Fare un tutto esaurito in un luogo simile.

E’ stato rilasciato anche un DVD + dietro le quinte..

“Spero che tutti i nostri sogni possano diventare realtà passo dopo passo…”

Il modo di fare musica della band si plasma traccia dopo traccia, ogni canzone è una vita a sé stante.
Col passare del tempo le canzoni diventano più strutturate, c’è una ricerca di modulazione ed equilibrio, ogni membro sviluppa una propria esperienza in modo personale
e dove non riesce ad arrivare da solo chiede aiuto agli altri.
Creare un qualcosa partendo da un idea e costruirla insieme, ecco come crescono i the GazettE.

Sono in una costate evoluzione artistica ed evoluzione di stile.

Ogni cosa migliora e si perfeziona.

Poi per la prima volta cercano di affrontare un’esperienza nuova,un live fuori dal Giappone.
SI esibiscono in Germania all’AnimagiC.

Quello che differenzia I The GazettE, non è solo la musica in costante cambiamento.
Ma è il loro non appartendere a nessuna categoria musicale.
Ogni singolo, persino ogni canzone, si differenzia dall’altra.
E’ tutto così diverso da non stancare mai.

Con la musica cambia anche il loro stile, sempre più curato in ogni dettaglio.

Sono come un’ondata di aria fresca ogni qualvolta li si veda.

Meaningless Art That People Showed

Questo tour è stato un po una sorpresa per tutti i fan Europei.

La loro popolarità sale alle stelle, tanto da arrivare nel vecchio continete: L’europa.
Con il Pulse Wriggling to Black 1.5 toccarono varie città come: Inghilterra, Finladia, Germania e Francia.

Molti fan, di tantissime età, da varie parti dell’europa si radunarono in quelle città, dando vita a dei Live stupendi ed indimenticabili.

Con il nuovo album, Stacked Rubbish, hanno ricevuto tanti consensi ma anche molte critiche.
Alcuni fans ritengono che la loro musica risulti troppo “occidentale”,iniziando così ad allontanarsi dal mondo dei The GazettE mentre altri, sapendo che il cambiamento è sempre stata una prerogativa, gli rimangono accanto e continuano a supportarli e ad apprezzare il loro modo di fare musica
Ruki stesso ribatte dicendo che per la band non è importante essere al top ma fare della buona musica, riuscendo al 100% nella loro impresa.
Purtoppo chi non apprezza il cambiamento non è adatto al mondo della musica.
Nonostante questo spaccamento tra i fan, non si sentono per niente scoraggiati; si nota anche quando con il singolo “guren” riescono a raggiungere
la prima posizione dell’oricon Chart.
Personalmente la vedo come una grande vittoria verso coloro che hanno pensato a quanto la band stesse perdendo punti.

Repeated Countless Error

Iniziato alla fine di Luglio, ha toccato ben 80 paesi del giappone, toccando anche,il 13 Aprile, la Osakajo Hall per poi finire allo Yoyogi Daiichi Taiikukan il 19 e il 20 Aprile.
Durante quel live, in uno dei suoi discorsi, Ruki ha detto “Siamo stati in grado di toccare tutti questi successi solamente grazie a voi, staff e fan. Sono davvero grato del vostro supporto, ma questa non è la fine. Continueremo ad andare avanti. Fatelo con noi!

E’ stato un final fuori da ogni aspettativa.
La band ha sorpreso tutti con un miglioramento al di fuori delle stelle, sia come presenza scenica che musicalmente.
Ogni canzone era così carica di energia da mandare su di giri ogni singola persona presente nella hall!

Alla fine penso che, la musica sia live che su cd o dvd unisca le persone.
Come per esempio, quando finalente il dvd del live arriva a casa, alcune fan si riuniscono per vederlo tutti insieme ridendo e scherzando,
ma anche commuovendosi.
Ogni occasione è ottima per condividere delle emozioni tutti insieme.

Ogni cosa legata alla propria band preferita è in grado di creare dei ricordi nel cuore delle persone.
Personalmente per ogni Final ho dei ricordi.
Sia belli che brutti.
Così come tantissima altra gente.

Secret live at Shinjuku

Il 15 Novembre la band, per presentare il nuovo singolo, organizza un live segreto alla Shinjuku Station a cui, si prevedeva, dovessero partecipare circa 250 persone, ma l’evento ne attirò ben 7.000!
Il live iniziò ma a causa del disagio provocato dalla folla, che avevano bloccato tutta la strada, la polizia sentì il dovere di interrompere quella fantastica esibizione dopo soli 10 minuti.

Questo nuovo singolo, come con il precedente album, raccoglie sia critiche che consensi.
Leggendo molti commenti di fan sulla rete, il singolo LEECH viene classificato come qualcosa di commerciale e poco consono al vecchio stile dei The GazettE.
Molti “fan” si distaccano da quello che “sono diventati” mentre molti altri, affascinati da questa evoluzione e proprio perché Leech è un vero attacco alla società odierna iniziano a seguirli.
Il testo è molto forte, in grado di far pensare e ragionare, così come tutti i loro testi.

Quello che più riesco ad apprezzare dei The GazettE è questo loro modo di attaccare la società, senza usare giri di parole.
Perchè la musica deve essere sincera, venire dal cuore.
La musica deve rimanere l’unica cosa pulita e non corrotta che è rimasta al mondo, e se qualcuno non lo accetta allora non ha capito il vero significato
di questo mondo fatto di note e verità.

2009

Durante l’evento celebrativo per festeggiare l’anniversario della loro casa discografica hanno annunciato l’uscita in un nuovo singolo, DISTRESS&COMA, che è stata suonata anche al loro settimo annversario alla Makuhari Messe Convention Hall.

Il 15 Luglio rilasciano il loro quarto album: DIM
Un album molto diverso da quelli precedenti; il sound è molto più cupo e struggente.
Seguito poi da un’altro tour, questa volta reso ancora più importante dalla grande data alla “Saitama Super Arena”.

Un’altro live pieno di sorprese, la band è riuscita a sbalordire nuovamente tutti. Il sound tetro regnava sia sul palco che nella Hall.
Ogni canzone era come una scarica di adrenalina, in grado di far muovere ogni singolo muscolo a chiunque fosse davanti a quei 5 uragani.

Il 7 Ottobre esce un nuovo singolo, BEFORE I DECAY, colonna sonora del cemebre film “Fast & Fourios 4″.
Dopo soli due mesi, il 24 Dicembre li ritroviamo sul palco per il il nuovo evento Natalizio “A HYMN OF THE CRUXIFIXION“.

Durante il mese di Marzo inizia un nuovo tour, dedicato ai membri del Fanclub “HERESY”.
Ormai nessuno riesce a placcare la loro voglia di fare musica e di esibirsi, al termine di questo breve Tour annunciano il Tour, aperto a tutti i fan, “TOUR10 NAMELESS LIBERTY SIX BULLETS” che inizierà a Luglio con due serate al Nippon Budokan.
Inutile dire che ogni data rappresenta un inevitabile SOLD OUT.

Forse, come si poteva prevedere, durante questo Tour il Vocalist ha perso la voce per il troppo sforzo; dopo il ricovero in ospedale si è deciso di annullare alcune date, dando modo al ragazzo di riprendersi al meglio.

Il 4 Agosto con l’uscita di un DVD contenente 10 video musicali, annunciano il trasferimento dalla King Records alla Sony Music Records (anche se non mancano le polemiche e le incomprensioni tra lo stesso staff della Sony con il gruppo)  e in contemporanea annunciano anche l’uscita, il 21 Luglio del nuovo singolo “SHIVER“, che sarà anche l’opening di un anime molto famoso “Kuroshitsuji 2″.
Giusto dopo l’uscita del singolo hanno annunciato il luogo dove si terrà il Final, che sarà niente meno che al Tokyo Dome.

Il 22 Settembre rilasciano un nuovo singolo [RED].
Per alcuni rappresenta il ritorno del vecchio sound dei The GazettE, ma in ogni modo rappresenta un grande singolo.

Dopo soli 3 mesi ritornano in classifica con il nuovo singolo [PLEDGE], una ballad con delle besides dall’animo rock.

50.000 persone davanti a loro.

Nonostante l’esibizione sia stata poco sentita a parere mio, rappresenta in ogni caso la coronazione di un sogno. Un traguardo che in pochi a quanto pare si aspettavano ma che si sono meritati fino alla fine.
